​Exercise is a large asset to PTSD treatment. In a pinch, a HIIT of burpees has been helpful as a grounding practice for managing hypoarousal*. The most balanced mind-body connection that I experience comes from exercise.  It's fuel in the tank. ​
A.M. - The Get-up and Go
  • Hydrate
  • Qigong, Calisthenics, or Gymnastic Rings
  • Stretch
  • Breath Work 
  • Meditation
  • Eat and Read

P.M. 
  • ​Strength/Long-Steady Cardio (3x/week)
    • Workout A: Dynamic Warm-up, Plyometrics, Bench/Deadlift, Accessories, Correctives
    • Workout B: Dynamic Warm-up, Plyometrics, OHP/Squat, Accessories, Correctives
  • Bagwork/Sprints (2x/week)
  • Active Recovery (2x/week)

Evening
  • Yoga

*The window of tolerance is the comfort zone that exists between hyperarousal and hypoarousal.
