Food Wars
I keep food honest, simple, and without shame.  First, I understand that eating disorder recovery is an extremely personal and delicate process.  If this triggers anything at all for any reader, please be warned that I'm talking about how I chose to pattern my eating routine.

Meal 1: cheese eggs, chicken breakfast sausage, oatmeal or English muffin
Meal 2: snack
Meal 3: Meal prepped lunch
Meal 4: snack
Meal 5: Cook dinner or grab a meal prepped dinner; salad, fruit
Meal 6: Greek Yogurt, fruit

I used Budget Bytes to plan meals, and I keep my pantry basics stocked.  Running through the ingredients of a recipe, I plug it into my phone's "Shopping List" reminders and hit the store once a week.

Accept some things that happen with any well-intended routine.
  1. Routines are built on habits.
  2. As with anything, I don't assess based on "good" or "bad."
  3. I don't use the d- word.  It's a lifestyle, and that's it.
  4. I morph into a shark at the sight of chips.
  5. I have skipped meals because I'm a human being, and I try to grab something ASAP.
